About us

Warmer Sussex is a not-for-profit organisation, partnering with a range of community organisations and fully vetted local tradespeople to help the people of Sussex in their journey to an energy efficient home.

Whether you are moving to a new house, planning some building work or want to make your home warmer and healthier – now is the time to think about the common sense steps you could take to avoid wasting energy in your home and make it more comfortable this winter.

Warmer Sussex will support you from start to finish, from our initial impartial assessment and advice in your Whole House Plan, though identifying local vetted tradespeople and checking the quality of the work being done throughout.

Warmer Sussex launched in October 2019.  Retrofitworks, who run Warmer Sussex, have been around since 2013 and has successfully delivered similar programs with a number of community groups and local authorities across the UK in that time.

Warmer Sussex welcomes enquiries from homeowners across Sussex on how they could make their homes more energy efficient.  In these early stages, we will be focussing on working with community organisations in a number of areas including Brighton & Hove, Lewes and Hastings.
